Fill a Stall Campaign Sponsorship

 

Thanks to a Challenge Grant from the Paul E. and Helen S. Meyer Foundation, we are able to offer this exciting campaign to help endow the future acquisition of horses for our Diamonds in the Rough program.

This grant offers a dollar for dollar match of each investment of $10,000 (the costs per horse for rescue or purchase, boarding, feed, veterinarian fees and care for the first year). As a sponsor your gift will be matched and will enable WHY Ranch to acquire two horses in two stalls once we have our own facility.

Your investment will save the life of an endangered or abandoned horse in Clark County. We have partnered with horse lovers who are passionate about protecting one of Nevada’s oldest friends, the Horse!

Quick facts about WHY Ranch and our Diamonds in the Rough program:

1. Clark County has no other program like Diamonds in the Rough, which takes underprivileged children ages 8-17 and offers them an inspirational non-urban setting where healing takes place by that magical connection with a horse.
2. WHY Ranch offers the program at two partner facilities due to not having a ranch home of their own. The two partner facilities offer the location and the horses along with the trainers.
3. WHY Ranch interviews and selects the students and brings the program with them to the partner locations.
4. WHY Ranch is in a Capital Campaign to raise the money required to purchase a ranch property, find suitable horses for a children’s program, staff the program and sustain operations for two years.
